I've taken my deep need as a mother to simply slow down, to be present with my people, and intentionally turned it into the heart of my family photography.

If you've ever left a family photo session feeling defeated because you were rushed and just sure you didn't get any good pictures of your children because they were ... well, being children. You're in good company.
From the moment I began photographing small children and growing families throughout metro Atlanta, I've worked to design sessions that meet children where they are. That give them time to acclimate, explore, seek comfort in their parents, change their shoes, have their snacks, shed their tears and share the authentic, unrushed connection that inevitably results from not rushing them.
By not booking more than one family per day, never booking sessions back-to-back, I can guarantee we have the time we need for children to take the time they need.

I've had family photos taken with two toddlers, and I'll be honest ... I was a little worried the management of little people and their behavior would take the shine off the experience. But once I was able to let go of expectation that were never going to be met by my precious wildlings, it was really fun. A little chaotic and messy, just like us.
